REYANSH

It's happening...........it's finally happening. My dream is going to come true. Naina will be MY wife. The words itself gives me butterflies.

Everyone are getting ready for the weeding. It's a huge hustle in the 2 mansions. We all settle down in 2 cars. One with mumma, papa, Chachi and Chachu and bua.

While I am left to deal with all these little devils. Mihir, raihaana and Aarav. Dadi and dada won't be coming with us because of health issues.

We all make our way towards Bua boutique. "So bhai  dil me to laddu phut rahe honge" says Aarav who is sitting beside me. Ab mai ise kaise bollu mere dil me sirf laddu hi nahi puri halwaye ke dukaan phut rahi hai.

[" I am sure bhai is on cloud nine"]

["how should I tell them I am on not just cloud nine but above them"]

"Arey arey blushing blushing" says Mihir. "Tumhara bhi time ayega beta" I tell them. "Dekho bhai mere ko jab tak koi Kim taehyung nahi milta I am not marrying" Raihaana says earning weird gazes from the other 2.

["your time will also come"]

["I plan on staying single unless I find someone like Kim taehyung"]

"Mai to single hi Accha ho" Mihir says, relaxing back taking a sip of his coffee. "Aur Aarav bhai?" Raihaana says with a sheepish smile.

["I am good off single"]

["and Aarav?"]

"Kainaat Bhabi hai" Mihir with so much ease, making Aarav go all red. "U-mm Bhai we are here" he says scratching his back. We all bust out in laughter.

["Kainaat is there"]

"Haan dekh raha hai mujhe" I tell him parking the car. As soon as we descend down the car the first person who comes in our view is Kainaat.

["I can see"]

On a bike.

On a fucking bike.

We all look at Aarav who is astonished and amazed looking at his Kainaat. I know what thoughts are running through his brain.

"Ohh hoo" I hear Raihaan, Mihir and Aakriti hooting. But where's Naina? I look around but can't spot her. Just then we again hear a huge noise. Looking towards the source I find Naina coming.

On a damn fucking bike!.

"Ye Dono to gai aj" says Mihir looking at me and Aarav, while we are completely lost staring at the sight in front of us. Damn Naina you look fucking hot.

["these 2 are going to die today"]

"See you lost di" Kainaat says. "That's was cheating, what you did back there" Naina says in her defence. Damn this woman is going to be the death of me someday. The black leather suit, the way she was driving the bike.

I might die right now.............

A finger snaps in front of me bringing me out from my lalala land. "Kaha?" Mumma says. "Naina Bhabi pe hai unka pura focus" Aakriti says, I can feel the heat rising up my cheeks.

["where?"]

["His entire focus is on Naina di"]

"Ye Dono bhai itna blush karte hai" Naina says passing by us moving inside. We all move inside Naina and Kianaat do to change their clothes.

["these 2 blush so much"]

Everyone is talking about something or the other while me and Aarav were still recovering from the shock. But that wasn't enough Naina comes out wearing a baby pinky kurti. She looks like a fucking goddess.

This woman can literally just breathe and I'll find her beautiful. Behind her comes Kainaat wearing a green dress.

Aarav favourite color.

We both are gone today.

We all start deciding our clothes, me and Naina were made to sit together. "Naina di and Reyansh bhai ap Dono ko same dresses Lena hai yaad hai na?Kainaat says. "Ye Kab decide hua?" I voice out. "Maine kiya" Kianaat says.

[" Naina and Reyansh you both will be buying the same colours remember right?"]

["I decided"]

"Haan Accha lage ga, good idea Kainaat" Naina mother says. "I have more, so bhai and Bhabi will be wearing,white for engagement , blue for sangeet, yellow for haldi, orange for mehdi and red for weeding, while all the guest will not wear the same colours as them on the respective days, this way they'll have the spotlight" Raihaana says in one breath while everyone nods in agreement.

["good idea Kianaat"]

"Guys decor mai personally handle karonga" I tell them, cause that why I want it according to Naina how I have always heard her describing her weeding.

["I'll handle the decor"]

"Think hai" they all agree with me thankfully. "Mere kya kaam?" Naina says with sarcasm. "Ap ke shaddi me ap kyu kaam karoge we'll handle everything" Mihir says.

["okay"]

[" why will the bride work?"]

"Ye bhi think hai" Naina says. Soon we all decide our clothes, being done with this, now me and Naina are being pushed in to the jewellery section all alone.

["Thats also fine"]

Finally.

I take a breath of relief when I see all of them moving away leaving us alone. "Let's quickly wrap up with this" Naina says eying all the jewelleries.

Her eyes get caught on one particular necklace. She asks the sales man to pass it to her. She carefully keeps it in her hand examining it. The way she was looking at it.

She is beautiful

"Pack this pls" I tell the sales man he nods his head. "I didn't even say anything, what if I don't like it?" Naina asks me folding her hands on her chest.

"Your eyes, they said it all" I answer her, she turns her gaze away from me looking for more jewellery.
Finally after 6 hours..........we are done.

We exit the shop, I search for my car keys but don't find it. Huh? "What are you searching for Mr.Singhania, Aarav took your car" Naina says taking seat on her bike, "hop on" she says wearing her helmet.

"Are you sure you'll be able to drive Ms. Malhotra?" I ask her raising an eyebrow, taking a seat on the bike. "Don't doubt the power of Naina Reyansh Singhania." She accelerate the bikes.

The fresh wind blowing on our faces, she smells exactly like the first rain.

Fresh.

I wonder what perfume she uses. I am sure it's from her own brand and personally made. The scent is not too strong, it's soothing and calming.

We both drive through the roads of Rajasthan, the moonlight shinning on us which soon gets covered by clouds. I guess it's going to rain.

We reach a completely empty road, she accelerates the bike even more, the rain stars to pour down, wetting both of us. "Reyansh" she calls me breaking my chain of thoughts. "Ji?"

"You are okay right? Should I stop somewhere?" Her voice shows the concern in them. "Nah I am fine let's go" I answer her, she nods and continues driving.

I securely wrap my arms around her waist, ah this is what I dreamed of. Just her and me, under the rain, lost in each other.

The rain intensified, adding to the symphony of our journey as the droplets danced on our skin. With every curve of the road, Naina's laughter echoed, blending seamlessly with the rhythm of the downpour.

I leaned closer, whispering words of admiration into her ear, feeling the warmth of her smile against my cheek. In that moment, the world faded away, leaving only the two of us entwined in a timeless embrace, finding solace in the magic of the rain-soaked night.
